The Bar The Galleon boasts a long main bar with timbered ceilings, a beautiful slate floor maintaining its traditional Cornish character. It is welcoming, light and cosy. An extension complete with an array of tables for those wishing to dine on the Galleons mouth-watering food looks over the Fowey River through large glass windows which also provides a beautiful sunlit area in summer months. An additional area bends round to the right, providing a large open seating area for large groups and families with doors opening onto the front patio area and beer garden. The front patio also looks out over the river where there is always a rush for seats when the weather is nice and the garden area at the rear provides an alternative with garden heaters, canopy and hanging baskets.

The Patio We can offer a good range of real ales from many of our local breweries, and a number of other beers, lagers and ciders in addition to a full range of spirits, wines and soft drinks.

The food is homemade and freshly prepared on the premises featuring locally caught fresh fish from Mevagissey and fisheries in Plymouth. Food is available from november to the end of march from noon until 2.30 pm at lunchtimes and 6-9pm Mondays to Saturdays and 6-8.30pm on Sundays. In the peak of the season we serve food from noon till 9pm Monday to Saturday and Sunday noon till 8.30pm. Our menu is regularly changed to adapt to the time of year and popular tastes and requests.
