Recently refurbished, the comfortable bar seating area has a long well-stocked bar, informal dining (dog friendly) and a relaxing, homely atmosphere with amazing views over the river. There are always a good selection of guest ales available, a regularly updated wine list, extensive menu & array of tasty snacks, and we often host live music and other fun events too.

We love everything local, and so we are proud to serve the best real ales, ciders and artisanal spirits the West Country has to offer. Our guest ales change weekly, so pop in and see what's on offer.
Dine at The Galleon Inn
All of our dishes are cooked using the best ingredients, locally sourced when possible. Our local suppliers are chosen to provide us with superb produce all year round, and a lot of our fish is landed, prepared and served within a matter of hours.
Our experienced kitchen team cooks everything to order and has developed a broad menu which is supplemented with a selection of daily specials. Our menus range from light bites, jacket potatoes & sandwiches for a quick lunch to our traditional fish & chips, fisherman's pie or Galleon burger. We also offer a range of children's portions and some vegan options to cater for as many appetites as we can. We can also cater for those on a Gluten Free diet, with some of our menu being gluten free by design & other meals being able to be adapted to suit.

We stayed at the Galleon Inn for one night in a room with a view of the river and it was perfect. The room was spotless and the bed was huge and very comfortable. It feels like you’re on a boat! Breakfast was excellent

Have been here many times over the last few years, food is great, & coffee and drinks are always great. I would recommend coming here if you want decent coffee/drink and lunch with wonderful views over the estuary.

We had breakfast there and was top notch. The sausages were not your usual deep fried, but cook properly. The bacon, sausages, hash brown, and other bits were of good quality. Best I have had for a long time.

Fantastic stay again, can't keep away. Amazing views from spotless and comfy river view rooms. Staff are great, food good, and pub has a really good atmosphere - can't wait to book again for the summer!

Great rooms, spacious, really clean and comfortable. Price included a lovely breakfast and the staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough. The service was really quick.
The view over the river was to die for, would recommend Fowey well worth a visit.

A great location on the waterfront if you can get a table. A very long bar with plenty of staff . Lots of tables inside and dog friendly. Pub food of good quality.

We ate here on a Monday evening in early June and enjoyed the light airy room with views of the harbour. The food was good and the service friendly and unpretentious.

The Galleon outperformed all expectations. Modern bedrooms, immaculately clean, well designed and with all you needed. Bed was really comfortable too. It was a lovely breakfast with local produce. And a good price too.
